                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TEMPORARY
                   CLOSURE OF HIXSON PIKE MORE PARTICULARLY
                   DESCRIBED HEREIN ON SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 21,
                   1992 WITH SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 28, 1992 BEING
                   THE RAINOUT ALTERNATE DATE, FROM 7:30 A.M.
                   TO 11:00 A.M. FOR THE PRESENTATION OF THE
                   "HIXSON PIKE CHRISTMAS PARADE" SPONSORED BY
                   THE HIXSON PIKE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE UNDER
                   CERTAIN CONDITIONS.
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       temporary closing of two (2) northbound traffic lanes nearest the 

       east curb of Hixson Pike between Access Road and Northgate
       Driveway, on Saturday, November 21, 1992 with Saturday, November
       28, 1992 being the rainout alternate date, from 7:30 A.M. to 
11:00
       A.M. for the presentation of "Hixson Pike Christmas Parade"
       sponsored by the Hixson Pike Chamber of Commerce provided that 
the
       sponsor shall set out traffic cones, flasher barricades, road
       closed and detour signs in accordance with the traffic control
       plan attached hereto, and shall provide, at all times, an access
       lane for emergency vehicles.
